This herbal tincture press can pay for itself quickly by increasing both quality and quantity of your production. The powerful vice like mechanical screw delivers high pressure with little effort. This herb press is the ideal size for those doing tinctures and infusions in family size, one pint to several gallon batches.

With use, the tincture leaks through the cotton bag to the top side of the piston. Simply pour the tincture from the canister or you may let it sit and drain (as in picture at left) in a drain pan (Model A Assy.4). This drain pan could eliminate breaking your favorite measuring cup. This is a big advantage over having a hose to keep lined up or spill the collection jar, unless the press is bolted to the table or work bench.

Model A Herbal Tincture Press:   Frame is 7 inches tall with a 3 ¼ X  5 inch base. Constructed of 1/4th inch steel tubing, it weighs 5 ½ pounds.   It is for use with a 3 cup canister only.

Herbal Tincture Press Features include:
Chrome plated screw and swivel.
    Powder coated frame (red).
      Square trapezoidal threads.
        Rigid steel frames.

only $124.95 plus freight (plus sales tax @ 7.25% for CA residents)

Could pay for itself in four to six batches in increased production.

Model A Deluxe Herbal Tincture Press:   Is the same herbal tincture press as Model A. It comes with an additional canister, two canister lids, nine (for a total of ten) press bags, and a stainless steel drain pan. We recommend the stainless drain pan because if you use a glass drain container and clunk it with the press you could break it.

For best results with infused oils you will need to use a jelly bag or cheese cloth (not supplied).

These pictures show what ground calendula (marigold flowers) look like after the tincture has been pressed out. It is a very dry, condensed material, looks kinda like a little hockey puck. You can drop it on the floor and it probably would not break. The bag is just as dry.

Extra bags (Model A Assy. 1) and extra stainless steel canisters (Model A Assy. 3) are also available. We also have the same size cotton bags with a draw string through the top for use as tea bags or for herbal bath bags. For prices or to order click here:   Prices and Order Form

Jelley bags are more open and are good to use with the press when you are making infused oils or slippery type herbs. There are two bags per pack.
